Our hometown here in Citrus County is getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas with our Parade of Trees. Each year our local merchants decorate a Christmas tree and then they are all auctioned off. All monies raise go to the local charities. Another thing I really like about small towns is all the work and monies our community groups do-not just for Christmas but year round. I left a large city where people didn't know each other nor did they help each other much. If you want that old time feeling and hometown values you need to do what I did- move to Citrus County!
